judith with her sonQ: How long have you been using the Go Figure program?

A: “I’ve been using Go Figure for two years now.”

Q: How much weight have you lost?

A: “I’ve lost 75 pounds in 7 months on the program.”

Q: How has your weight loss affected you and how has it affected your family?

A: “It has affected my family in the most positive way that I can ever imagine. I can do things with my son that I couldn’t do before, like play basketball, football; we bike, we swim, we hike. Anything and everything that you can imagine and you feel good about it. You’re not feeling tired and exhausted, feeling like you want to stop. You can just keep on going. You don’t have to feel bad for not wanting to do it, I actually want to do things with him and I enjoy it.”

Q: Tell us about your weight loss journey. What brought you to Go Figure?

A: “I’ve tried many things in the past and then I was just comfortable with myself. I came to Go Figure because of the contest, which was an absolute blessing for me. I had the drive. They gave me all the tools that I needed, the support that I needed. I don’t think it was ever lost or lapsed. I mean you feel good. You stop the program for maybe a week and slip on some things, but then you realize, holy cow, like, what they’re teaching you is working.”

Q: Are there things or activities you can do now that you couldn’t before?

A: “The proudest thing I can do now is swim. I would not ever go swimming with Wesley before and now I’m like: dude, let’s go swimming. That is my proudest thing. Everything else I could do before, I just didn’t like it. I didn’t enjoy it because I was tired and sweaty and hot. Now its like let’s do this, let’s keep going Wesley. What do you want to do next?”

judith posingQ: What is it like being on the Go Figure program and working with our staff?

A: “The staff is amazing and supportive and very clear in giving you the tools that you need; always asking me what I need as far as answers for any questions that I have. You can call them; they are there, flexible. I feel like it’s this “family of support” that, I mean, you’re just given, they’re there for you.”

Q: If you were to describe Go Figure to a friend, what would you say?

A: “I would say: why not use Go Figure? It’s easy. It’s clear. The directions are very transparent. Go Figure works because they are giving you the tools; they’re giving you the recipes. They’re giving you the exercises. They’re giving you the tips. They’re helping you to learn to live a healthy lifestyle and carry that forward in your future.”

“They’re giving you the tools to try it out at first and then you’re going to personally realize that this works. This is actually something that you can carry forward. This is a future tool for your body, for your life. They’re giving you a lifestyle.”

Q: In your opinion, what is the best thing about the Go Figure program?

A: “The people that work at Go Figure are the best thing about the program.”

Q: Are there any additional health benefits you have experienced from losing weight?

Judith with son WesleyA: “Many, many health benefits. I can sleep better. My bones don’t hurt, my knees don’t ache, I’m not hot all the time. (laughing) I actually get cold!”

Q: How have you maintained your weight loss?

A: “I have maintained my weight since July of 2014. I take those tools with me. I use those tools. I remember what I’ve been taught and it definitely helps. There’s definitely trial and error with the program within yourself. You can make the choices to eat bad things or drink bad things, but you’re definitely going to learn from the choices that you make. Go Figure gives you that tool to understand that what they’re doing and what they’re teaching you is the better choice for your body because you feel yucky when you make the choice to eat the bad food or have the bad drink.”

Q: What is the most meaningful thing to you about your weight loss?

A: “The most meaningful thing to me is to be a better mom. Like, I’m there, I feel like I can give my son something that I couldn’t two years ago.”
