Our program utilizes an appetite suppressant that is prescribed to patients on an individualized basis.  The diet plan is high in protein, low in carbohydrates, fat and sugar.  Patients may eat regular store bought food, fresh or packaged, or eat at restaurants, as long as it fits within the dietary guidelines outlined in their new patient booklet.

Our alternative program is designed for those who medically can't or do not wish to be using medication.  It utilizes the same process as our medical program, except that the patient uses a natural herbal appetite suppressant rather than medication, and the patient may consume more calories than those using the prescription appetite suppressant. 

Although the patient's progress is supervised by our physician, they do not meet with our doctor, have their blood pressure monitored or have an EKG, unless they request to do so, in which case their initial consult fees are the same as those on the medication.  Quite a few clients have used this program successfully, although weight loss progress may be somewhat more gradual than those using the prescription medication.
